About Me!
Howdy! The name’s Pluto. I’m a 20 year-old self taught artist from Houston, Texas. I’m queer, neurodivergent, and blasian, and I take classes at my local community college living with my parents. Why am I telling you all this? I’ll get to that.I love art. I’ve been drawing ever since I was a kid, like many others. It became a serious hobby of mine, however, at about 11 years old is when I realized just how much I don’t fit in. I spent a lot of my youth pretty lonely because of this. However, art has helped me connect with so many wonderful people that I wouldn’t have known otherwise. It means a lot to me, and if you’re here, I’m assuming you feel the same. Like I said, artists and art appreciators can be from anywhere and be anyone. All you need are a pair of eyes and a heart.
"Hold up. Why the prices? ___ charges way less than you!"
Going back to the first question, I have a lot of needs and goals. I have to pay for my HRT. I have to pay for college. I can’t get jobs as easily as everyone else in my state can. All this to say, art is one of the few areas where it doesn’t matter where I come from or who I’m born as. I can perform on equal footing as everyone else. There’s not a whole lot of places I get to do that. It’s not just about me, though. I use my money to pay other artists. To support the community around me, my friends and family. I don’t like asking for a lot. I frequently like to fulfill art requests! However, I can’t ignore just how important money is. No one can. I’m grateful for the life I’ve been given, and I wish to continue living as long as I can. That means living up to these demands. You’re free to look elsewhere if my prices don’t workout for you. However, my range exists to compensate for different incomes. I understand if you live in a state like Texas, where our minimum wage is barely above $7. I understand if you’re like me, a struggling college student working 3 jobs while in school, having no time for yourself. I understand if you graduated college years ago and still can’t find a decent job. These are hard times we’re living in. I see you, and I want to give back without drowning myself. Thanks if you read this far. You're a real one <3
